Bluegrass Surgery and Laser Center is currently searching for a Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays (4, 10-hour shifts) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidates for this position are required to:
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process to perform safe and individualized nursing care throughout the Pre-op, Intra-op, and post-operative process.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS.
