Role Responsibilities: * Support automation systems engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, and software design, and understand the underlying system implications. * Leverage robotics subject matter expertise in performing systems engineering analyses in support of semiconductor equipment product development. * Leverage robotics subject matter expertise and interpersonal skills to evaluate & negotiate requirements from internal and external customers with consideration for feasibility, technical risks, and operational factors. * Manage projects consisting of software and mechanical scope to ensure OEM robot vendors meet specific requirements on time and at cost. * Perform software and mechanical testing and qualification of OEM supplied robots. Design & build physical test stands and develop testing software in support of qualification activities. * Maintain accoutability for quality and reliability requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Drive closure of quality problems using structured methodologies. * Evaluate mechanical, software & electrical designs within material handling robots, and similar mechanisms, with respect to requirements. * Support System Integration and troubleshooting of automation modules during the manufacturing and application lab (cleanroom) operations of new product designs. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * 6-7 years of experience * Demonstrated experience in robotics and/or automation systems engineering and integration, including hardware testing, software testing, and complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
