Technology is foundational to all of Appnovation’s offerings, from consulting to digital innovation to digital product and service creation. As a Senior Associate Engineer, you will join a highly motivated and experienced team, building web and mobile applications as well as providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients. We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution-focused mindset.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as an information technology professional in roles such as software developer
Strong experience building REST APIs
Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular
Experience with identity management systems such as OpenID / RHSSO
Experience developing with Node.js and Tailwind CSS
Extensive experience designing and implementing SOA and microservices
Experience with unit testing, TDD, and integration testing using Cypress
Experience with continuous delivery tools and methodologies such as GitHub, Travis CI, and agile workflows
Experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying container-based solutions using Docker or Kubernetes
Understanding of agile principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Experience operating in a DevOps environment
Strong written and spoken English

Experience building in WSL2 environments

You have prior experience in consulting
