Apt Resources is currently looking for a Stock Auditor to join their client's team for a well-known Supermarket chain in Africa. As a Stock Auditor, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the store by auditing the stocks and ensuring accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Stock Audit: Perform regular stock checks in the supermarket to compare actual stock levels with those recorded in the system.

Stock Counting: Conduct physical counts of products in the store, including all types of merchandise. Record the exact quantities of each item.

Shrinkage/Loss Control: Implement systems to identify and address causes of product losses.

Security: Work with the security team to ensure the supermarket’s protection, preventing theft and vandalism.

Labeling and Pricing: Ensure products are properly labeled with accurate and visible prices for customers.

Process Improvement: Identify ways to enhance stock management, such as tracking and restocking procedures.

Collaboration: Work with store managers and other departments to ensure efficient stock management.

Compliance: Follow legal requirements and company policies for stock control, especially for high-value or perishable items.

Training and Support: Train store staff on best practices for stock control.

Analytical Skills: Essential for tracking and reconciling stock levels, and spotting discrepancies.

Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring accurate counts and identifying record errors.

Numerical Aptitude: Strong basic math and calculation skills, along with familiarity with stock management software.

Organization: Ability to keep documents organized and track audit progress.

Integrity and Ethics: Display honesty and integrity when accessing confidential information.

Mandatory to have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar job in India.

Mandatory to have work experience solely in India, doing stock auditing, counting, and reporting at supermarket stores.

Education: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma.

Stock System Knowledge: Familiarity with stock management systems for efficient reconciliation.

Physical Fitness: Able to stand, walk, and lift items.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members and managers.

Time Management: Essential to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Salary: 890-1200 USD Gross after Deduction USD 489.5/- to USD 660/- Net

Food subsidy: Food subsidy paid by day based on company policy.

Transport: Collective company provided transport.

Housing: Company provided housing.

Travel: Yearly ticket back to country of origin paid by company for holidays.
