Arconic is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Cranberry Township, PA. location. This position works a 12-hour shift (6p - 6a) .

**For 12 hour shift, it rotates days on and off, week 1 work 36 hours then week 2 work 48 hours (mandatory overtime can occur on top of this).

Primary Responsibilities

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
Identify and look up parts in MP2 maintenance program.
Use hand tools and other required equipment.
Troubleshoot independently all types of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, mobile equipment, utilities and basic electrical controls.
Repair equipment with little documentation.
Provide improvement to preventative maintenance program by creating task lists.
Drive root cause analysis and implementation of long term solutions.
Use a drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical equipment as needed.
Make recommendations and updates to equipment which result in an improvement to technical downtime.
Help train maintenance grade 10 employees.
Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as regarding work accomplishments and findings.
Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software.
