Responsibilities
~3 min read- →Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- →Conduct business and technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify requirements and solution strategies.
- →Develop solution architectures supporting cloud-native, hybrid, and enterprise application environments.
- →Provide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through deployment and support.
- →Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations regarding adoption of new tools, platforms, and methodologies.
- →Support modernization initiatives involving cloud engineering, containerization, microservices, DevSecOps, and platform automation.
- →Design solutions utilizing multiple data stores, including relational and NoSQL technologies.
- →Develop architecture standards, interface standards, performance standards, and quality assurance practices.
- →Support implementation of enterprise data architecture, data governance, and metadata management strategies.
- →Provide guidance regarding data integration, data conversion, and enterprise information architecture initiatives.
- →Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- →Present technical recommendations, roadmaps, and architecture strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- →Support implementation of AI and machine learning capabilities where appropriate to enhance mission outcomes.
Requirements:
- →Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- →Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
- →Minimum of 7 years of experience serving in a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.
- →Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
- →Experience with AWS and familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other major cloud providers.
- →Strong experience leading software development initiatives utilizing Java, .NET, or similar enterprise technologies.
- →Experience serving as a technical lead across the full software development lifecycle.
- →Experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- →Experience designing architectures utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases.
- →Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data architecture, and information management principles.
- →Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- →Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- →Experience leading large-scale cloud migration initiatives.
- →Experience with Kubernetes, containerization technologies, service mesh platforms, and microservices architectures.
- →Experience with enterprise data architecture, metadata management, and data governance programs.
- →Experience implementing AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or advanced analytics solutions.
- →Experience supporting federal government programs and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- →Experience evaluating and implementing low-code application platforms and emerging technologies.
- →Cloud, architecture, or cybersecurity certifications preferred.
