What You’ll Do
As a Network Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
● Provider Recruitment, Certification & Oversight: Recruit, certify, train, and oversee Independent Providers while maintaining district directory tools and managing certification renewal timelines.
● Placement Coordination & Rate Setting: Facilitate out-of-home placement requests, execute public vendor calls, coordinate emergency placements, assess specialized rates, and align roommate compatibility for high-needs cases.
● Technical Assistance & Compliance Reviews): Deliver technical guidance to providers on progress reporting standards, billing protocols, employee file requirements, and divisional policies.
● Billing Auditing & Dispute Mediation): Audit timesheets and billing entries within the FOCUS database, build customized tracking systems, resolve errors, and mediate vendor financial disputes.
● Provider File & Administrative Lifecycle Management: Maintain independent provider files, teach skill-building courses, resolve payment issues with fiscal intermediaries, process amendments, and complete file closures.
● Support Coordination & Team Collaboration: Partner with Support Coordinators to identify qualified vendor options, run pre- and post-placement meetings, and secure essential member resources.
● Incident Investigation & Incident Monitoring: Track unusual incidents, author UIR investigation summaries, execute follow-up inquiries, and escalate high-risk cases to leadership.
● Provider Orientation & Service Design: Lead new provider orientation sessions, participate in Individual Service Plan (ISP) team reviews, and evaluate service outcome metrics.
● Data Tracking, Census Management & Gap Analysis: Maintain vacancy and waitlist databases, track regional service gaps, monitor Attendant Care compliance, and submit routine census reports.

● Oral Communication: Facilitate pre- and post-placement meetings, present policy guidelines, and deliver orientation sessions to providers and agency partners.
● Writing: Draft out-of-home placement requests, UIR investigation reports, public vendor announcements, and formal file updates.
● Active Listening: Gather essential details from members, families, and providers during placement planning, incident reviews, and dispute resolution.
● Reading Comprehension: Interpret complex statutes, administrative policies, vendor contracts, and Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
● Service Orientation: Assist members and families in accessing critical community residential, day program, and HCBS resources.
● Critical Thinking: Evaluate placement barriers, audit billing discrepancies, and assess compatibility for complex roommate matchings.
● Complex Problem Solving: Address emergency placement crises, resolve roommate compatibility issues, and direct UIR follow-up actions.
● Coordination: Synchronize efforts across DCS, OLCR, Support Coordination, and vendor networks to facilitate successful member transitions.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Developmental Disabilities Expertise: Apply functional knowledge of developmental disability care models, community resources, and program structures.
● Case Management Support: Apply case management principles when reviewing ISP team referrals and coordinating service adjustments.
● Database & Systems Management: Utilize FOCUS and build customized tracking spreadsheets to manage census, vacancies, and billing data.
● Regulatory Compliance Application: Ensure provider adherence to state licensing rules, certification standards, and release processes.
● Financial Auditing: Audit provider timesheets against service codes, calculate rates, and resolve complex payment discrepancies.
Pre-employment Requirements:
● Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
● Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
