SDET - II (UI and Backend)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests, ensuring the highest quality standards across the application. You will use tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, TestNG, and Cucumber to automate tests and ensure product reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

• →Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
• →Develop, enhance, and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
• →Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

• →Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.
• →Create data-driven tests and automate API validation against different environments.
• →Ensure robust API coverage, including edge cases and negative test scenarios.

• →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• →Ensure tests are executed as part of the build and deployment processes, reporting the results promptly.
• →Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives) and work in an iterative, fast-paced environment.

• →Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
• →Ability to debug, isolate, and fix issues in both test code and application code.
• →Experience in performance testing, stress testing, and identifying potential bottlenecks.

• →Partner with product management, development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and deliverables.
• →Work closely with developers to design and implement test strategies that support development cycles and meet business requirements.
• →Lead cross-functional communication between engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure everyone is aligned on quality standards and release timelines.
