As an Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, you’ll help bring ASM’s advanced semiconductor equipment to life by designing and deploying automated test solutions. Your work will directly support our global manufacturing strategy by improving test efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring product quality. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and develop cost-effective testing methods for system and modules in manufacturing
- →Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to define detailed specifications; Design testing process and routines; Develop and validate test procedures.
- →Develop new test fixture, manage deployment, issue tracking, prepare debug plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and documentation.
- →Drive the implementation of automated testing solutions according to program's requirements.
- →Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple concurrent projects and prioritize deliverables.
- →Gathers operational and test data and evaluates results; may take corrective/continuous improvement actions.
- →Provide sustaining support for deployed test equipment, including calibration and maintenance.
- →Conduct root cause analysis and generate failure reports for design and deployment issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a semiconductor equipment manufacturing or high-tech engineering environment.
- Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies and sensor technologies (e.g., vacuum sensors, thermocouples, motion sensors).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across global cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing automated test fixtures for semiconductor equipment.
- Experience designing control systems for semiconductor equipment.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.
