As a Engineer II, Product Intelligence at ASM, you will act as a critical bridge between our global engineering teams and semiconductor manufacturing customers. This role combines hands-on deployment and customer engagement with software engineering contributions to our AI/ML-driven analytics platform.
You will work directly in customer environments—including secure, air-gapped fabs—to deploy, stabilize, and continuously improve our solutions. Responsibilities

Lead deployment and configuration of Product Intelligence analytics solutions in customer environments

Support early-stage deployment stabilization by troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues
- →
Serve as the primary technical interface for customer inquiries, coordinating with global engineering teams
- →
Deliver technical demonstrations and support customer understanding of platform capabilities
- →
Assist with on-site system setup including server installation and environment configuration
- →
Contribute to product development including bug fixing and feature enhancements
- →
Develop and maintain scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Go) to improve deployment efficiency
- →
Reproduce and analyze field issues in development/test environments
- →
Support system integration across APIs, data pipelines, and backend services
- →
Participate in debugging, root cause analysis, and code review processes

Execute and enhance test scenarios for new releases, especially in on-premise environments

Validate software performance in real customer production settings

Provide structured feedback to improve product reliability, usability, and deployment processes

Support documentation and standardization of deployment procedures and best practices

Collaborate with global product, platform, and engineering teams for issue resolution and feature alignment

Support technical communication with external vendors and partners as needed

Act as a liaison between field operations and central development teams

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (From Entry Level to 5year Exp.)

Solid foundation in software development and debugging (Python, Go or similar languages)Basic understanding or exposure to AI/ML or data analytics platforms

Familiarity with Linux-based environments

Experience or exposure to modern software technologies (e.g., APIs, data pipelines, backend services)

Fluent in both Korean and English (written and verbal communication)

Willingness to work on-site at customer locations and travel as required

Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented engineering mindset

Experience with AI/ML applications or data-driven analytics platforms

Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing environments or industrial systems

Experience with software testing, validation, or CI/CD processes

Knowledge of backend development or distributed systems

Experience supporting customers or delivering technical demonstrations

Ability to work effectively in secure, on-premise or air-gapped environments
