We currently have a full-time opportunity for a dependable Flatbed Truck Driver at Associated Scaffolding. You'll find yourself making deliveries and retrievals to or from commercial and industrial construction sites. When not making deliveries, you'll work in the warehouse, counting, organizing, and repairing our equipment.
This position features competitive pay, starting at $18/hour up to $20 according to the applicant's experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver and pick up construction access equipment at construction job sites professionally and safely.
- →Count all material and documents on the applicable forms correctly, including all shortages, damages, or any other material discrepancies.
- →Complete and record pre-trip inspections according to ASC guidelines and procedures.
- →Obtain all necessary signatures and give required copies, including safety instructions, to the person signing the paperwork.
- →Drivers may be required to load and unload material from the truck without assistance or the use of a forklift or lull when they are not available.
- →When not driving, primary duties include working in the warehouse, inspecting, reconditioning, loading, and unloading scaffold equipment from trucks.
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a current driver's license with a good driving record (no more than 2 incidents in the last 3 years and no DWI or Careless/reckless driving charges in 5 years).
- Possess or able to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Diligent attention and knowledge of safety practices. Associated Scaffolding has one of the best safety ratings in the construction and scaffold industry. Safety is our top priority!
- Good oral and written communication skills in the English language.
- The ability to move, lift, or leverage up to 70 lbs.
- The ability to safely transport co-workers and scaffold equipment to the desired location.
- The employee will spend periods of time in an outdoor work setting.
- The employee will spend periods of time counting and restocking items in the warehouse and yard.
- Requires periods of time unloading and loading trucks.
