## About the Role
Please note: This is a temporary 13 month opportunity, with the potential for extension.This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 1-2 day(s) on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
As ATB’s next Senior IPA Developer, Intelligent Process Automation Operations you will be contributing to a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and the stability of our digital workforce. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of our automations, bridging the gap between traditional RPA and Agentic AI to ensure peak performance. Your role is central to production oversight, where you will drive incident triaging, stakeholder coordination, and DevOps-led deployment strategies. By proactively monitoring and continuously measuring performance levels, you will ensure our intelligent automations deliver resilient, high-quality support to our team members and customers at the highest level of operational integrity.
## Accountabilities
* Production Oversight: Monitor the Blue Prism Control Room / VM Resources to ensure all scheduled automations trigger correctly and complete successfully.
* Incident & Problem Management: Provide support for bot failures. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on process exceptions and technical timeouts to identify "break-fix" solutions.
* Business Continuity: Act as the bridge between technical failures and business impact; coordinate manual workarounds with stakeholders during critical system outages.
* Performance Optimization: Track and report on key metrics including Bot Utilization, Success Rates, and Manual Exceptions to identify candidates for process tuning.
* Platform/VDI Collaboration: Work closely with IPA Platform and VDI teams to ensure Blue Prism Platform and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs) are patched, available, and correctly configured for the bot fleet.
* Lifecycle & Migration Governance: Support end-to-end (E2E) regression testing and technical validation during Blue Prism platform upgrades and environment migrations; orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure bot logic compatibility and seamless transitions between Development, Production, or Cloud infrastructures.
* Solution Architecture & Development: Design and develop complex automated solutions, specifically those requiring system integration via technologies such as APIs.
* Stakeholder Management: Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, partners and peers to establish themselves as a key point of contact/expert in the RPA/IPA space.
* Strategic Improvement: Proactively identifies opportunities to improve IPA governance, delivery, and maintenance (including working with subject matter experts and development team to identify and address opportunities and gaps in existing automations.
## Skills, Experience & Requirements
* Proven expertise in Blue Prism development and architecture.
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Prism (or UiPath/Automation Anywhere) specifically within a production support or "Run" capacity.
* 2+ years of experience developing end-to-end automated solutions, including the ability to analyze execution logs and debug code.
* Proficiency in SQL and programming experience with C#, .NET, or Python. Experience with Tableau or Splunk for operational dashboards is a plus.
* Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks and LLMs to build and maintain autonomous agents capable of reasoning and handling unstructured data.
* Strong ability to triage complex production issues, distinguishing between environment stability, application changes, and bot logic errors.
* 2+ years of experience in process design, mapping, and continuous improvement.
* Strong familiarity with ITIL frameworks (Change and Incident Management) and DevOps/CI/CD practices (e.g., GitLab, GCP DevOps) to support bot deployment pipelines.
* Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, CRM, ServiceNow, and G-Suite/GCP.
* Advanced Blue Prism certifications, such as Professional Developer (APD01) and Designing Blue Prism Process Solutions (ASD01), are considered a strong asset.
* Familiarity with banking practices and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate between business owners and technical teams during outages.
