Scala Developer

TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its Trading Backend team:

• →Develop and maintain Scala-based systems for order generation, trading, simulation, and performance evaluation workflows
• →Work on core trading and quantitative libraries, including domain models, numerical models
• →Develop and maintain interfaces to external systems for data acquisition and order execution
• →Use advanced Scala features in production code (type-level programming, macros)
• →Apply strong mathematical, statistical, and algorithmic thinking to problems involving simulations, numerical accuracy, computational complexity, and financial data modeling

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 2+ years of experience in Scala or other functional language
• Practical knowledge of JVM ecosystem, including common libraries
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Theoretical/practical background for numerical computations
• Knowledge of financial industry, experience in financial system development and maintenance
• Experience in data acquisition and data quality assurance
