Auros is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Trader with 2+ years of trading experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hunger for trading, a keen eye for identifying profitable opportunities, and a relentless drive to maximise returns. While exposure to cryptocurrency markets is highly regarded, it is not strictly required. This role demands sharp analytical skills, quick decision-making under pressure, and a competitive mindset.

• →Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers and other traders to refine existing strategies and develop new trading models.
• →Contribute to the continuous improvement of our trading systems and processes.
• →Investigate market trends and real-time data to analyse, inform, and adapt trading strategies.
• →Manage risk effectively within the trading portfolio, demonstrating a strong understanding of risk and reward patterns.
• →Proactively research new market opportunities and pricing inefficiencies, utilising data analysis and market microstructure insights.
• →Optimise trading algorithms and infrastructure to enhance performance and efficiency.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of proven algorithmic trading experience with a track record of profitability, ideally in D1 and/or options.
• A strong, demonstrable hunger for trading and an entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking new challenges and responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment and articulating complex ideas.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative reasoning skills, with a superior ability to identify and interpret patterns in large datasets.
• Ability to make quick and decisive decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, acting and performing successfully under minimal supervision.
• A proactive attitude in identifying and pursuing new trading opportunities, with a desire to push research in new and unknown directions.
• Strong programming skills (Python, SQL or similar) are highly valued for data analysis, strategy development, and scripting.
