Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Revenue Royalty and Compliance Coordinator (Royalty Zone) will partner and support several departments (Revenue Team, Compliance Team, Billing & Collections, The Brand Team & Product Approvals Team). You’ll be a key asset in driving performance improvements in the area of Royalty, Revenue, Compliance & Administration.
- Coordinate with licensees on timely submission of quarterly reports
- Track licensee compliance status
- Review licensee compliance and follow-up on delinquent reports and missing information
- Collect, review, and analyze revenue reports to calculate royalty obligations.
- Interpret and apply contractual terms to royalty calculations.
- Monitor compliance with royalty agreements and escalate discrepancies.
- Maintain royalty and compliance databases and documentation.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and external partners regarding revenue tracking and royalty issues.
- Support internal audits and respond to external audit requests.
- Assist in improving royalty processing workflows and compliance procedures.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in royalty accounting, compliance, or revenue management.
- common in industries such as entertainment, publishing, technology licensing, and natural resources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with royalty contract structures and revenue-sharing models.
- Proficient in Excel (V-lookup, X-lookup, etc.) and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or royalty management tools).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
