  • Minimum of 3–5 years of inventory, warehouse, or materials management experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and purchasing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control methods and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily inventory control operations and ensure accurate inventory counts are completed each day.
  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure daily cycle counts and physical inventory counts are completed according to company procedures.
  • Review inventory transactions and implement corrective actions when variances are identified.
  • Coordinate the ordering of materials, components, tooling, and production supplies to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure materials and tooling are received in a timely manner.
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and completeness against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Maintain inventory records within the company's inventory management or ERP system.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure material availability.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Supervise inventory personnel and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, labeling, and security of inventory and tooling.
  • Prepare inventory reports, usage reports, and stock status reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Inventory tracking databases and dashboards
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
