Join a collaborative biopharmaceutical environment supporting Medical Affairs strategy through data, insights, and clear business storytelling. This team partners closely with Medical Affairs leaders, IT, and global stakeholders to translate complex medical and market data into meaningful recommendations. The work supports respiratory Medical Affairs priorities, launch readiness, impact tracking, segmentation, and leadership decision-making in a fast-moving, highly visible setting.

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a remote opportunity aligned to U.S. East Coast business hours. East Coast location is preferred, but candidates in other U.S. time zones may be considered if they can consistently support East Coast schedules. This role offers exposure to senior Medical Affairs stakeholders, global coordination, launch-related analytics, and potential long-term extension as the team continues to grow.

  • Analyze Medical Affairs insights and data sources to identify trends, themes, sentiment, and business implications.
  • Turn complex data into clear, leadership-ready stories that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what actions should be considered.
  • Pull, manipulate, and interpret data independently using SQL, Snowflake, Excel, and related analytics tools.
  • Support Medical Affairs planning by helping teams understand activity prioritization, stakeholder engagement, segmentation, and impact opportunities.
  • Partner with IT to define dashboard requirements, KPI logic, tracking needs, testing expectations, and business use cases.
  • Support launch-related tracking and readiness analytics, including early launch metrics, day-zero activity, and post-launch performance views.
  • Work with claims data, medical data, and other pharma datasets to support segmentation, journey-type analysis, and strategic reporting.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, reporting requirements, and analytics outputs.
  • Present insights and recommendations to Medical Affairs leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Build therapeutic area understanding, especially within respiratory, while staying aware of competitor and market context.
  • 10+ years of experience preferred, with a strong blend of pharma/biotech analytics, business-facing insights, and leadership-level communication.
  • 15 years of experience is an ideal seniority range for candidates who can confidently present to Medical Affairs leadership.
  • Pharma or biotech experience is required, with Medical Affairs analytics strongly preferred.
  • Respiratory therapeutic area experience is highly preferred, but other therapeutic areas such as oncology may be considered.
  • Strong SQL skills required, with Snowflake experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Python is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with claims data, segmentation, HCP/customer analytics, medical data, or launch tracking is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to independently pull, clean, manipulate, and interpret data without relying on IT for basic data extraction.
  • Strong storytelling ability required, including the ability to present insights, business context, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Experience working with IT, data teams, or dashboard developers to define metrics, KPIs, dashboards, requirements, and testing needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; data science, computer science, life sciences, engineering, pharmacy, or related fields are acceptable if paired with relevant pharma analytics experience.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MS, PhD, or PharmD is preferred but not required.
  • Must be self-driven, able to ramp quickly, and comfortable operating independently after initial guidance.
