Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, supporting a long-term technology engagement. The role offers the opportunity to lead front-end development efforts, work with modern React/TypeScript tooling, contribute to reusable UI frameworks and component libraries, and collaborate across Python/Django APIs, Azure delivery, CI/CD, and enterprise authentication patterns.

• Build and enhance highly scalable front-end applications using React, TypeScript, AG Grid, HTML5, CSS3, and modern browser technologies.
• Lead development of reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, and design system assets, including Storybook-based components.
• Partner with backend engineers to consume, enhance, and integrate Python/Django APIs for end-to-end application features.
• Improve front-end performance, accessibility, server-side data loading, filtering, and responsiveness for data-intensive interfaces.
• Support production delivery through CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure services, and modern front-end build tooling.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization patterns across applications, environments, and user roles.
• Raise team engineering standards through testing, refactoring, code reviews, documentation, and technical decision-making.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with senior or lead-level front-end delivery experience.
• Strong hands-on production experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end architecture.
• Advanced experience with AG Grid or similar enterprise data grid tools, including server-side data loading, filtering, performance tuning, and large data sets.
• Strong knowledge of front-end fundamentals, including accessibility, browser APIs, performance optimization, reusable UI design, and responsive development.
• Experience building shared UI component libraries, design systems, and Storybook-based documentation.
• Strong understanding of modern build, packaging, and deployment tooling such as Vite, npm, webpack, gulp, grunt, monorepos, or npm workspaces.
• Experience delivering software through CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Cloud deployment exposure across Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure experience is preferred.
• Comfort working across the stack, including APIs, SQL, data modeling, and backend collaboration.
• Exposure to Python/Django is strongly preferred; willingness to learn and collaborate with backend engineers is required.
• Experience with authentication and authorization patterns such as SSO, OIDC/OAuth2, and RBAC.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document technical decisions, align stakeholders, and work independently.
