Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Receive and verify incoming parts and supplies in eMaintenance, the inventory control system, and the storeroom.
  • Review disposition forms, update quantities, and place orders when stock falls below minimum inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels of critical parts.
  • Physically stock all inventoried items according to designated storeroom locations and established min/max levels.
  • Create records for new stock items in eMaintenance.
  • Complete three-way matching of invoices, receipts, and purchase orders in the system.
  • Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Pull parts for the PM team and replenish stock as needed.
  • Contact vendors by email or phone to obtain quotes for parts.
  • Negotiate the best possible pricing, delivery terms, and stocking arrangements with vendors.
  • Maintain 6S standards and organization within the tool crib.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Operate in a manner that provides value to the team.
  • Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision or management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education and/or related certifications are a plus.
  • One to three years of experience in a similar position; inventory control or stockroom experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of storeroom and inventory processes.
  • Ability to be proactive, take initiative, make suggestions, and follow up with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong observation, attention to detail, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, with advance notice, to accommodate business needs.
