Develops secure, responsive, and performant user interfaces following component-based architecture and clean code principles. Strong orientation towards frontend performance tuning and optimization (bundle size, lazy loading, change detection, rendering performance). Participates in design sessions and provides input on UI/UX implementation, component design, and frontend architecture based on previous learnings/experience. Applies software engineering practices and modern development methodologies (code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD) to ensure superior quality and consistency of frontend deliverables. Collaborates with Architects/Designers in partner locations to arrive at viable frontend design solutions and reusable component libraries. Collaborates with Functional Analysts and Business Analysts to review and improve functional specifications, including functional test descriptions and acceptance criteria for the UI. Contributes to the design, development, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of frontend features at a high quality level. Contributes to the technical evolution of the application by identifying needs, gaps, and new requirements; coordinates with backend teams on API contracts and integration. Actively assists the organization in hiring the right frontend talent. Works closely with the Engineering Manager to help achieve delivery timelines. Maintains a working knowledge of current frontend technologies, tools, and patterns, and brainstorms ideas with other team members. Makes recommendations to improve usability, accessibility, and operating efficiency of the assigned UI areas. Requirements Experience: Required Minimum of 3 years in software development with focus on frontend/web UI development. Working experience with Single Page Application (SPA) development using Angular 14 or later. Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (including preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS). Hands-on experience with core Angular concepts: components, services, modules, routing, forms (template-driven and reactive), dependency injection, and lifecycle hooks. Solid understanding of RxJS and reactive programming patterns (Observables, operators, subjects). Experience consuming RESTful APIs and Web APIs, handling authentication tokens (JWT/OAuth2), error handling, and asynchronous data flows. Experience with state management approaches in Angular (services with BehaviorSubject, NgRx, or similar). Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG) basics. Exposure to deploying frontend applications in Azure cloud (Static Web Apps, App Service, Storage + CDN, or similar). Experience working alongside backend teams built on the Microsoft stack (.NET, Web API), with the ability to read and understand API contracts. Experience contributing to the migration of legacy WinForms applications into modern browser-based stacks, leveraging automated tools and AI where applicable. Basic knowledge of application security on the frontend (authentication/authorization flows, secure token handling, XSS/CSRF awareness). Proficiency in English is a plus, but not a requirement. Experience Strongly Preferred: Experience with unit and component testing (Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and end-to-end testing (Cypress, Playwright). Familiarity with UI component libraries (Angular Material, PrimeNG, Tailwind CSS). Knowledge of frontend design patterns and their implementation (Smart/Dumb components, Container/Presentational, Facade, etc.). Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Strong documentation skills with emphasis on process improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering. Microsoft Certifications in Solutions Development are a plus (not required).
