The Part-time Event Personnel position is primarily responsible for custodial duties.  Part-time employees will report to an operations Supervisor who is responsible for the direction of housekeeping services in the Baltimore Convention Center.  The incumbent is responsible for the daily maintenance and custodial responsibilities for both the public and private sections of the facility. This is a non-exempt position and is considered non-essential.

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies.
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture.
  • Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors. Empty, clean, and line wastebaskets and recycling containers inside and outside of the facility.
  • Clean and dust walls, lockers, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies as directed.
  • Polish elevators, escalators, railings, and other metal fixtures.
  • Wash walls and clean interior and exterior windows.
  • Perform related duties as required.
