About the Role
~1 min readJoin the Wardli-ana team in Christies Beach and play a key role in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Working as part of the Toward Home Alliance, you'll lead a dedicated team, build strong community partnerships and support the delivery of culturally responsive services that help people find safe housing, strengthen connections and achieve greater stability.
You’re an experienced leader who is passionate about supporting people experiencing homelessness and creating positive outcomes in the community. You know how to bring out the best in others, build strong relationships and create a supportive team culture. With a collaborative approach and strong understanding of culturally responsive practice, you're comfortable leading teams, working alongside community partners and managing the complexities of service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have the following skills and experience:

Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Management or a related discipline

Minimum 2 years' leadership experience within homelessness, housing, community services or a related human services environment

Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams

Knowledge of homelessness service delivery, case management and trauma-informed practice

Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with community organisations and key stakeholders

Commitment to culturally responsive practice and experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations
