Join a team supporting U.S. Southern Command's Enhanced Domain Awareness (EDA) initiative, helping drive the execution of mission-critical programs that enhance intelligence, analytics, and operational decision-making capabilities. This role provides leadership across multiple work orders, ensuring successful contract execution, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with strategic objectives while supporting a complex and evolving mission environment.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award, which is expected in the next 30-60 days.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide overall leadership and oversight of assigned work orders, ensuring successful execution of program objectives.
- →Coordinate with government stakeholders, technical teams, and partner organizations to support mission requirements.
- →Manage program governance activities, including planning, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- →Oversee program budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and contract deliverables.
- →Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- →Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- →Support strategic planning and decision-making activities with senior government leadership.
- →Coordinate interagency and cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of program activities and mission outcomes.
- →Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition, governance, and reporting requirements.
- →Provide regular status updates, executive briefings, and program reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field, or ten (10) years of equivalent professional experience managing large-scale DoD programs.
- Experience managing program lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Experience with program governance, budget oversight, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Experience identifying and mitigating program risks in complex operational environments.
- Experience supporting DoD contract execution and compliance with acquisition and governance frameworks.
- Experience coordinating with senior government, military, and interagency stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, Intelligence Community, or other DoD organizations.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Familiarity with Agile program management methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Certifications such as PgMP, DAWIA Level III Program Management, Lean Six Sigma, or related program management credentials.
- Experience managing large-scale technology, cloud, data, analytics, or intelligence programs.
