Full-Time 35 Hours per Week

The Operational Performance & Intelligence Manager will lead the hospital's Management Information Team and play a key role in supporting the Chief Operations Officer, Executive Management Group and Clinical Directorates through the provision of high-quality operational intelligence, performance analysis and strategic insight.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the availability, interpretation and effective use of operational and performance information to support decision-making across the organisation.
The role will provide leadership in the areas of operational performance management, service planning, performance reporting, data governance and organisational intelligence, ensuring that hospital leaders have access to timely, accurate and meaningful information to support the delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient care.
Working closely with clinical, operational, digital and corporate teams, the post holder will lead the development of a data-informed culture and support the planning, implementation and evaluation of service developments and organisational improvement initiatives.

Requirements
~1 min readCandidates must possess:
- A primary degree in a health-related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Health Services Research, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Operational Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within an acute hospital environment.
· Leadership Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience leading and managing staff within a complex healthcare environment.

- Health Services management experience
- Experience supporting operational performance management within an acute hospital.
- Experience producing executive-level performance reports.
- Experience analysing healthcare activity, capacity, utilisation and performance data.
- Experience supporting service planning, service development or organisational improvement initiatives.
Experience leading organisational performance frameworks.
- Experience working with business intelligence, reporting and healthcare information systems.
- Experience interpreting and validating complex healthcare datasets.
- Experience working with Power BI or similar visualisation platforms.
- Experience working collaboratively with ICT, digital and informatics teams
Experience with iPMS, Orbis, Power BI
- Intellectual capacity to provide structure, vision and direction to the management of data within the organisation
- Self management in order to achieve appropriate work life balance
