  • We're seeking a Quality Specialist (Product Integrity) to play a key role in protecting product quality, enhancing supplier performance, and supporting the successful introduction of new materials across our site. Working closely with Operations, R&D, Planning, and suppliers, you'll help ensure our products consistently meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

    Our Morwell site is located about 150km east of Melbourne, manufacturing a large range of products in yoghurt and dairy desserts including brands such as Farmers Union, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yoghurt facility in Australia. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead investigations into ingredient, packaging, and product quality issues, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions

    • Partner with suppliers to improve material quality performance and reduce defects

    • Manage material compliance, specifications, certifications, and incoming quality requirements

    • Coordinate and support trials, new materials, and change management activities across the site

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product integrity and consumer satisfaction

    • Experience in Quality, Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar technical environment

    • Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMP and BRC

    • Proven ability to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions

    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
