We're looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in supporting the performance, reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise will directly contribute to safe operations, product quality and overall site performance.

Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 170 million litres of product every year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work a rotating 12-hour day shift roster (5:00AM – 5:00PM) and 10-hour night shift roster (5:00 PM–3:00 AM), including weekdays and weekends (Monday to Sunday).

  • Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and reliability programs
  • Supporting new equipment installations and providing technical input during commissioning
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with engineering, safety, and food quality standards

About you

  • Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualification (essential)
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, ideally with dairy processing or packaging equipment
  • Strong problem‑solving capability, with a practical approach to identifying root causes and improving performance.
  • Understanding of asset care and maintenance systems, with a focus on reliability and consistency
