We are looking for an Operations Manager to join Better’s in-house homeowners insurance agency, Better Cover. This person will be instrumental in the development of a profitable, national, multi-line insurance entity that helps get our borrowers homeowners insurance.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations and/or insurance professional who can work cross functionally to maintain operating and improve procedures for Better Cover. This person should be a proven leader who can build and manage teams. We are looking for individuals who build rapport quickly and bring positive “can-do” energy to their work and team.
Responsibilities
~1 min read● Grow and manage a team of analysts
● Management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing
● Maintain the infrastructure and operating procedures for our insurance business including retention, quoting, and reporting
● Maintain and improve call center operations by monitoring system performance managing day-to-day business including (but not limited to) pipeline development, sales and renewal cycles
● Partner with the business to develop strategy around other products that fall under Better Cover
● Develop and drive initiatives for how we can improve our customer experience
● Strong operational leader with experience managing a multi-function team
● Demonstrated success in monitoring KPIs
● Experienced in property and casualty agencies
● Desire to be strategic and inform strategic decision making
● Understanding of insurance lifecycles
