We are seeking a Senior NPI Quality Engineer to join Bevi’s manufacturing and quality team. This role reports to the Director of Quality Engineering, and will be responsible for measuring, improving, and maintaining the quality of Bevi’s products. The Senior NPI Quality Engineer will work closely with NPI and sustaining engineering teams to identify and prioritize targets for improvement. The ideal candidate will embrace the Bevi core values, learning new skills, working across disciplines, and driving issues to completion.

  • Lead quality team in product development activities and product design reviews, ensuring quality requirements and reliability standards of components, subsystems, and final products are embedded into the design.
  • Serve as the lead subject matter expert for Customer Care and Field Service teams to triage and resolve quality issues impacting end-customers while ensuring top-level quality metrics are met.
  • Apply an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) framework to drive a proactive approach to quality and minimize reactive risks.
  • Lead the implementation of key quality processes, including defining CTQs, PFMEAs, quality control plans, MSA/GR&R, FAI, and Ok2Ship.
  • Ensure excellent manufacturing quality through tight process controls, preventive measures, and timely corrective action implementation.
  • Lead quality initiatives with the Supply Chain team to establish a formal qualification process for new suppliers.
  • Act as the technical liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure all requirements are fully understood and complied with.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams through comprehensive Root Cause Analysis for failures occurring in manufacturing or at end-customer sites.
  • Regularly generate, publish, and present quality KPIs and relevant operational metrics to executive leadership.
  • Maintain supplier quality data collection activities, running periodic reports to summarize data and initiate supplier continual improvement programs.

Requirements

  • Passionate about delivering best-in-class quality to customers and stakeholders.
  • 5-7 years minimum work experience as a Quality Engineer or 2-3 years at a Senior QE level, with NPI experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead with an appropriate blend of tenacity and grace while acting as a culture carrier during periods of growth and challenge.
  • Strong communicator able to facilitate discussion and present data across all levels of internal and external organizations.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to interpret specifications and drawings, perform problem-solving, and analyze data to lead improvement initiatives.
  • Very strong background in APQP, statistical tools, PFMEAs, quality control plans, PPAP, and root cause problem-solving frameworks such as 8D.
  • Experience leading process improvement teams and managing major projects.
  • Experience using SPC tools with a deep understanding of how to apply them to measure process reliability and repeatability within the supply chain.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience in the commercial appliance industry with knowledge of NSF and UL standards is a plus.
  • ASQ certifications such as CQE and CQA are a plus.
  • Ability to work in the office 4-5 days per week.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%, primarily domestic with occasional international travel as needed.

The posted compensation range reflects the salary* for this position. Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Bevi employees receive equity in the form of stock options. *For Sales roles: The posted range reflects base salary plus commission which is the total potential on target earnings (OTE) for the position.
