ole Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House Trainer who specialises in service training within the hospitality industry. This role is ideal for a strong Food & Beverage Manager or hospitality professional who is passionate about developing teams and elevating service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and upskilling front of house staff, with a focus on waiter service, customer experience, and overall service excellence. You will play a key role in ensuring consistent, high-quality guest interactions across operations. ______________ Key Responsibilities • Deliver structured training programs for front of house staff (waiters, hosts, and service teams) • Provide hands-on coaching in customer service, upselling, and service etiquette • Train staff on service standards, procedures, and best practices • Assess staff performance and identify training needs • Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Support management teams in improving service delivery and guest satisfaction • Conduct on-site training sessions and workshops across various locations • Monitor and maintain consistency in service standards Requirements Minimum Requirements • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry • Proven background in a Food & Beverage Manager or similar leadership role • Strong knowledge of restaurant or hotel front of house operations • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (essential) • Must be based in Cape Town • Well-presented, professional, and highly articulate • Strong attention to detail and a passion for service excellence ______________ Key Competencies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong training and coaching ability • Leadership and team development skills • High level of organisation and time management • Ability to work independently and across multiple sites • Customer-focused mindset Benefits Provident Fund after 1 year of service.
