Assistant Warehouse Manager

At Bisco Industries, our most valued asset is people! Bisco Industries is ranked in the Top 15 Global Distributors of electronic components and hardware. We are a growing company and currently have 53 sales facilities located throughout North America and 7 distribution centers. We are looking to add an assistant manager to our warehouse in our local Oakville, ON facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years of management/leadership experience working within a warehouse, ideally within a distribution environment
Experience in Receiving, Receiving Inspection and Shipping (via UPS and FED-EX, international experience a plus)
Knowledge of electronic table-top scales (weights & measurements)
Cycle counting experience is preferred

Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution pulling, cutting, packing and shipping orders. Must be able to meet required daily goals.
Team player who can also work with little supervision and willing to give 120%.
Must be detail oriented, organized and meticulous about your work

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly + stand/and or be on your feet 8hrs a day
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Computer experience using Excel, Word and Outlook
