#659 - Full Stack Engineer (Decisions Orchestration)

What you'll do 
● Write lots of code for backend (either Kotlin or Python) and frontend (React, Redux, Typescript) with high degree of proficiency  
● Design software and contribute to implementation. 
● Work cross functionally with Product, Analytics and other engineering teams across Affirm. 
● Build APIs and data models to work according to the defined service oriented architecture. 

 

What we look for 
● 6+ years of experience as a full stack sr. software engineer in backend (Python or Kotlin) and frontend
● Strong understanding of any relational database system best practices. 
● Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability 
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
● Project management skills–high degree of organization and ability to surface critical information effectively. 
● Experience with AWS and/or other cloud providers is a plus
