Responsibilities

→Support leadership in managing full cycle accounting operations across multiple entities
→Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy
→Drive month end, quarter end, and year end close processes with a focus on efficiency
→Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling initiatives
→Analyze financial performance and deliver insights to support strategic decisions
→Assist in consolidating financials across various business and investment entities
→Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
→Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting
→Support system implementations and enhancements, including ERP optimization
→Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and regulatory reporting requirements
→Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to a high performing team environment
→Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across workflows

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5 or more years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices
Experience working with multiple entities or complex organizational structures
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
Experience with system implementations or transitions is highly preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and continuous improvement focus
Exposure to insurance or statutory accounting is a plus
