Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end electrical engineering efforts for complex, on-site building projects, from early planning through turnover and occupancy.
  • Guide design decisions for normal power, backup power, lighting, controls, low-voltage scope, and coordination with building systems.
  • Partner with architects, construction leaders, consultants, vendors, and field teams to keep deliverables aligned with schedule, budget, and code requirements.
  • Review drawings and technical documents for quality, constructability, and coordination before release.
  • Support project execution during construction by resolving RFIs, submittals, field issues, and design updates with urgency.
  • Help standardize engineering workflows, templates, and quality practices that can scale with a growing project portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted client-facing technical leader, translating engineering decisions into clear recommendations and project updates.
  • Mentor internal and external contributors while raising accountability, responsiveness, and technical excellence across the team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline required, Professional Engineer licensure strongly preferred.
  • Background leading electrical scope for healthcare, critical environment, medical office, or similarly regulated facilities.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, life safety expectations, and related compliance requirements.
  • Comfort with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and standard project communication tools.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage priorities, communicate clearly, and keep teams moving.
  • A practical, detail-oriented approach to problem solving, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • High-impact role with visibility across technical, operational, and client-facing work.
