  • Lead a multidisciplinary MEP and fire protection engineering function across complex building and infrastructure projects
  • Set the technical direction for design delivery, quality standards, code compliance, constructability, and system performance
  • Guide engineering teams through project planning, staffing, coordination, and execution for both new construction and renovation work
  • Partner closely with architecture, project management, and executive leadership to align technical delivery with business priorities
  • Support value driven engineering decisions that improve outcomes while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee resource planning, team utilization, and delivery performance to keep projects on schedule and teams effectively deployed
  • Coach, mentor, and develop engineering staff through performance feedback, growth planning, and day to day leadership
  • Build and strengthen client relationships across institutional, government, transportation, and other regulated project environments
  • Contribute to business development by helping shape pursuits, proposals, scopes, pricing strategy, and go to market planning
  • Provide leadership input on budgeting, forecasting, practice growth, and overall business performance
  • 15 or more years of experience within consulting MEP engineering design, with exposure to complex facilities and public facing projects
  • Demonstrated success in a senior leadership capacity with responsibility for team management, operational performance, or business unit results
  • Professional Engineer license in New York, required
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and related building systems in both existing facilities and ground up environments
  • Experience working with New York City or New York State agency standards, review processes, or project requirements
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM or Revit, and related engineering design tools
  • Comfort working with project management platforms and standard business software
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical recommendations in a clear, client friendly manner
