Responsibilities

  • Guide the architectural strategy for a portfolio of public sector and institutional building programs
  • Partner with engineering and project delivery leaders to align design intent, constructability, and building systems performance
  • Lead and develop architects, designers, and project leaders while promoting accountability, quality, and professional growth
  • Oversee staffing plans and resource alignment to support delivery goals across multiple concurrent engagements
  • Help establish performance expectations, track project outcomes, and strengthen execution discipline across the team
  • Support growth efforts by shaping pursuit strategy, contributing to proposals, and strengthening executive client relationships
  • Monitor business performance, budgets, and forecast inputs for an architecture practice or business segment
  • Represent the practice with senior clients, agency stakeholders, and teaming partners across the New York market
  • Licensed Architect in New York
  • Extensive experience leading architectural design and delivery within a consulting environment
  • Prior leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, operations, or business segment oversight
  • Strong understanding of how architecture integrates with MEP systems, constructability requirements, and modern building performance goals
  • Background in higher education, civic, transportation, government, or other large scale institutional environments
  • Experience supporting proposals, client development, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and common project and office software tools
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business discussions
