Responsibilities

  • Direct site development planning and engineering activities related to earthwork, stormwater management, and structural support systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Translate field realities, jurisdictional comments, and project objectives into permit ready civil documents
  • Develop technical evaluations for stormwater systems, site planning requirements, and structural support elements while helping optimize project execution strategies.
  • Coordinate with architects, project managers, and construction partners to keep submittals moving from concept through approval
  • Prepare calculations, plan sets, and revisions using Civil 3D or similar design platforms
  • Review civil and foundation documents for code alignment, completeness, and practical execution in the field
  •  Support permitting activities and provide technical input during construction as questions arise
  • Manage multiple assignments with a high standard of accuracy, responsiveness, and follow through
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Arizona Professional Engineer license required
  • 5 or more years of civil engineering experience in land development, site design, or related project work
  • Extensive experience developing site infrastructure solutions involving terrain modeling, stormwater management, and structural support systems.
  • Familiarity with the structural requirements that influence building support systems and shallow foundation performance.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing civil engineering and site development design platforms to produce technical plans and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with Arizona codes, permitting expectations, and local review processes
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and nontechnical teams
  • Strong judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • High ownership role with real project influence
  • Stable workflow and visible backlog
  • Work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders on strategic initiatives and project execution.
  • Practical engineering environment focused on execution, not bureaucracy
