Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare facility and capital improvement projects from early planning through construction, activation, and closeout.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality across a range of care environments, including hospital, outpatient, and medical office settings.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and specialty consultants to keep workstreams moving efficiently and decisions on track.
  • Partner with executive leadership, clinical users, operations teams, and other stakeholders to align project outcomes with business and patient care priorities.
  • Oversee due diligence, permitting, contract administration, change management, invoicing support, and status reporting.
  • Anticipate project risks and develop practical mitigation plans that protect timelines, budget performance, and project quality.
  • Support design review and value optimization efforts to improve constructability, long-term operational efficiency, and overall return on investment.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and maintain strong communication across the full project team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related discipline.
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience leading complex capital projects, preferably in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of project delivery processes across design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project planning or reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston and travel to active project locations as needed.
  • High-visibility role with direct impact on healthcare environments and facility performance.
