Lecturer – Economics, Statistics & Entrepreneurship

• Master's Degree in Economics, Statistics & Quantitative Studies, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a Higher Education institution.
• Evidence of research output, publications, and other scholarly activities will be an added advantage.

• →Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, workshops, and online learning activities in Economics, Statistics, and Entrepreneurship, ensuring effective student engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
• →Develop, administer, and moderate assessments while providing timely, constructive feedback to students.
• →Monitor student academic progress and provide academic guidance and support to enhance student success and retention.
• →Participate in academic administration, programme development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• →Contribute to research, publications, consultancy, innovation, and other scholarly activities that strengthen the University's academic profile.
• →Supervise student research projects and dissertations where applicable.
• →Participate in faculty, departmental, and University committees, as well as community engagement initiatives.
• →Contribute to curriculum review and enhancement of teaching and learning practices.
• →Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Faculty leadership.

• Strong subject knowledge in Economics, Statistics, and Entrepreneurship.
• Excellent teaching, learning, assessment, and facilitation.
• Demonstrated research and academic writing capability.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation in English.
