Physics - Lecturer (BUO)

1. A relevant Masters / PhD in Physics or related discipline.
2. Proven academic and research excellence, demonstrated through publications in peer-reviewed journals.
3. Experience in designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate curricula
4. Strong track record of securing and managing research grants.
5. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, especially in supervising postgraduate students and junior staff.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
7. Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to institutional development initiatives.
8. Experience with international academic collaborations and networks is an added advantage.
9. Familiarity with digital tools for teaching , learning and research.

• Must have 3 years of experience in programme / curriculum development.
• Excellent digital analytics skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English.
• Good Organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate and mentor projects and internships for students including liaison with local Science Institutions and Business industry.
• Maintain student records and execute various day to day administrative responsibilities involved with teaching.
• Continuously upgrade skills through self- study and work with peers.
• Be a constructive member of Botho University team.
• Research and publishing including experience of working on funded projects.
• Ability to fully navigate online learning platforms
