Quality Specialist

What’s the Role? Quality Assurance Specialist – Lima. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the entire production process to ensure the highest standards of product and service excellence at our Composite Linings Manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will lead the QA/QC team, manage the Quality Management System (QMS), direct all quality laboratory activities, and reinforce operational excellence. You will be the primary supervisor of ISO 9001:2015 compliance and hold the final authority on product release.

  Safety Leadership: Actively demonstrate that safety is your number one priority, conduct regular safety interactions, and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated.

  Quality Management: Manage, maintain, and audit the ISO 9001:2015 certification, acting as the final gatekeeper for product release. Manage Customer Feedback Reports (CFRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system.

  Laboratory & Technical Oversight: Ensure the validity and traceability of laboratory results, oversee equipment calibration, and manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes for structural integrity. Lead technical investigations using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

  Team Leadership: Direct and mentor the QA/QC team (including analysts and operators), monitor performance, allocate daily tasks, and foster a culture of precision and accountability.

Our Ideal Candidate meet the following criteria:

• →Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Metallurgical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• →

  Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing environment.

• →

  Certifications: Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (with at least 1 year active experience) and Level 2 Certification in NDT (VT, PT, MT). Six Sigma Green Belt is highly desired.

  Background in the industry: Practical experience with mechanical laboratory equipment is preferred; previous experience in Composite Linings is desired.

  Language skills: English proficiency at an Advanced Level (C1), capable of drafting technical reports and communicating with international clients.

Location: The position will be based at our facility in Lima.
