Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The typical tasks include:

1. Operational Support:

• →Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of powered equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc), VAS area conveyance, heat wrap, bailors/compactors, de-stuffits, pallet wrappers, pallet inverters, battery changing and other specialized equipment.
• →Provide equipment for operational use including:
  • →Assisting in unloading and organizing pallet deliveries in the warehouse.
  • →Managing V-board inventory and cut to size for packaging and shipping needs.

2. Trash Collection and Clean up:

• →Organizing and executing regular trash collection and disposal.
• →Collecting and appropriately storing items for recycling
• →Responding promptly to any oil or water spills and ensuring proper cleanup and containment.
• →Conducting janitorial tasks for outdoor areas like the patio and yard.
• →Managing the removal and loading of bails from the facility.

3. Preventive Maintenance and Light Repairs

• →Conducting minor plumbing repairs as needed.
• →Performing wall painting and patchwork to maintain the aesthetics of the warehouse.
• →Addressing and fixing any damages to the warehouse racking system.
• →Assisting in various special projects as assigned by the management.
• →Coordinate with vendors on site to repair or maintain items, as appropriate.

• Possession of a valid Georgia Driver's License.
• Experience with small power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in cleaning and janitorial work.
• Available to work from 6:00 am to 12:00 am.
  
• Knowledge and experience in general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and speak English; bilingual skills are optional but beneficial.
