• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as, AWS Cloud Architecture, AWS Public Cloud, Azure Cloud Services, Cloud Engineering, Enterprise Cloud.

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Foundation
• Cloud Architecture Design: Foundation
• Cloud Computing: Foundation
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Working knowledge with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence

• CompTIA Security +
• AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solution Architect, Similar certification in Azure or GCP preferred
• Certification in one of the Ci/CD tools preferrable Gitlab or Jenkins or attended courses in those
• ITIL Certification a plus
• Experience with DevOps environments
• Expertise in various COTS, GOTS and open-source tools which support development of data integration and visualization applications
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications

As a Cloud Engineer you will support our federal client’s mission to accelerate discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence to counter national security threat actors by applying experience relevant in an intelligence domain. The appropriate candidate is required to have the following skills.

• →Provide technical expertise in range of cloud technologies to include cloud development, cloud architecture, cloud system engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps engineering and operations and Agile development methodologies
• →Leads team on projects of various layers of complexity and creates solution involving or affecting financial, scheduling, methodology, tools and prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, system development, processes, procedures and producing methods
• →Acts as a liaison to take the project requirements from the customer and then translate that to a technical requirement
• →Manage the project stakeholders and works with them as a technical point of contact for everything related to cloud engineering
• →Plan, execute and close projects that meet or exceed customer expectation
• →Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
• →Implementing various development, testing, automation tools and IT Infrastructure
• →Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
• →Setting up the tools and the required infrastructure
• →Defining and setting development, test, release, update and support the DevSecOps process
• →Have a technical skill to review, verify and validate the software code developed in the project
• →Troubleshooting the techniques and fixing the code bugs
• →Monitoring the process during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• →Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• →Identifying and deploying security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• →Incident management and root cause analysis
• →Coordination and communication with team and with customers both external and internal
• →Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• →Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and customer
• →Maintain code integrity and organization
• →Collaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of deployment procedures, release plans, etc.
• →Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security
• →Support off-hours deployment such as evening or weekends.
• →Co-location: High colocation, 70-80% onsite.

• Ability to develop peer networks across an enterprise to maintain technology awareness and to support resolution of problems.
• Ability to operate across traditional technical boundaries, comfortable working in the compute space as well as the storage space in an operational capacity.
• Technically curious and driven to learn new skills.

• Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; overtime should be expected when schedules demand it.
• Willing to travel, if needed.
• No Relocation.
• Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
