Laboratory/Pharmacy Technician Assistant

This position plays a vital role in supporting doctors and clinical staff by ensuring efficient laboratory operations, accurate pharmacy management, and timely diagnostic testing. • Minimum of two years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant, preferably in an emergency or specialty hospital. 

• Strong understanding of veterinary laboratory procedures and pharmacy operations. 

• Experience with SmartFlow, EzyVet, Cubex, and IDEXX systems is preferred. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments. 

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities are required to do this job including close vision. This position requires walking and/or standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, 75 lbs. with assistance. Must be able to work flexible hours including some holidays, evenings and weekends.
