The Role: Manages and delivers funded projects from initiation to completion, overseeing plans, stakeholders, compliance, reporting, and contracts, or contributing to specific components within larger multi-country programmes. Accountabilities: Relationship and stakeholder management * Builds and manages strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring engagement, collaboration, and effective communication across projects and programmes. * Leads procurement, supplier and contractor management, holding partners accountable for delivery while guiding small teams to achieve project outcomes. Commercial and financial management * Ensures financial compliance by supporting budgeting, monitoring expenditure, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering timely financial reporting. Project management * Develops and delivers project management plans, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. * Manages procurement, contracting, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder requirements, ensuring adherence to client, funding, and organisational standards. * Oversees data collection, quality assurance, analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, providing accurate project insights and supporting evidence-based decision-making. Sector/subject expertise * Applies local context expertise to enhance project design and delivery, supports knowledge sharing, and maintains partner insights to inform strategic development. Role specific knowledge and experience: Essential: * Experience of managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life cycles * Experience of managing external stakeholders and using technology in project delivery * Good understanding and experience of supporting monitoring and evaluation Desirable: * Experience of managing teacher education projects (delivered online, face-to-face or blended) Role specific skills: * Demonstrable knowledge of local school level education system(s) * Customer support * Function support * Service & product delivery support * Relationship and stakeholder management Language Requirements: * Native in Armenian language (essential) * C1/C2 English language proficiency (essential) * B2 Russian language proficiency (desired) Education: Bachelors Professional qualification and certification: Foundation level project management qualification (Desirable) Closing Date: Applications will close at 23:59 IST/22:29 Armenia time on Tuesday, 11 August 2026 You must have the legal right to work in Armenia at the time of application. Mobility / relocation / visa sponsoring support will not be provided.
