JOB SUMMARY
Participates in the development and implementation of automation solutions using diverse toolsets including UiPath, Visual Basic, and C#. Assists in creating AI-driven automations and APIs to support business process improvement initiatives.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in developing automation solutions using UiPath’s Business Automation Platform, Visual Basic, and C#.
- Help create and maintain APIs with hands-on experience in JSON and modern API development practices.
- Collaborate with senior team members to implement AI-driven automations, including traditional ML models for document understanding and LLMs for advanced processes.
- Participate in testing phases, ensuring automations work effectively and adapt to changing conditions.
- Continuously enhance skills through training and hands-on experience with automation tools and AI technologies.
- Work closely with team members to support automation development projects and initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Must possess familiarity with at least one programming language such as Visual Basic, C#, or Python.
- Must exhibit basic understanding of API concepts and JSON.
- Must possess eagerness to learn AI and machine learning technologies and their applications in business automation.
- Strong analytical capacity and detail orientation with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with senior team members.
- Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, managers, and department staff members.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- One to two years of experience in software development or automation technologies.
- Basic understanding of automation concepts and development practices.
- Working knowledge of insurance or financial industry is desired.
- Experience with or certification in UiPath or similar automation platforms is preferred.
- Experience with AI or machine learning projects, even in academic setting, is preferred.
