The Talent Acquisition Specialist Level 1 supports the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process by coordinating interviews, facilitating candidate movement, and ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role executes established recruiting processes, including sourcing support, initial candidate screening, and pipeline management, while maintaining accurate records within the HRIS and applicant tracking systems. This role also supports onboarding activities such as new hire documentation, I-9 verification, and system access setup to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Through consistent communication, attention to detail, and adherence to compliance standards, this role contributes to an efficient, organized, and candidate-focused hiring process.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Schedules and coordinates interviews in alignment with hiring manager availability
  • Communicates status updates to hiring managers using established processes
  • Gathers basic intake information using standardized templates
  • Supports sourcing efforts through job postings, resume searches, and candidate outreach templates
  • Maintains candidate records and updates pipeline activity in the system
  • Conducts initial candidate screenings using defined criteria
  • Coordinates interviews and gathers structured feedback
  • Ensures candidates move through the process in a timely manner
  • Conducts credentialing process, if applicable
  • Follow established recruitment and onboarding procedures to maintain compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations while delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Initiate and track onboarding activities within the HRIS, including completion of new hire documentation, I-9 verification, and coordination of pre-employment requirements.
  • Accurately enter and maintain candidate and new hire data; submit and track account requests and system access to ensure new hires are set up for success on day one.
  • Supports candidate communication and ensures a positive experience throughout the hiring process
  • Assists with job postings and basic employer branding activities, including hiring event attendance
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.

Position also requires the use of computer technology/equipment.

Position requires the ability to receive information in person and over the telephone.

Position requires the ability to convey detailed and important instructions or ideas accurately.

 

Requirements

$55,000 - 60,000 per year ($26.44 - 28.85 per hour).  

This position is eligible for overtime.

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
