The Programmes Intern supports the team in planning and delivering youth-focused programmes that create meaningful impact for young people. Working alongside the Programmes team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in programme coordination, community outreach, and partnership engagement in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Programme Support (Primary)

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of youth programmes, ensuring activities are delivered smoothly and on schedule.
  • Support logistical and administrative tasks to keep programmes running seamlessly.
  • Help collect participant feedback and assist in consolidating insights to improve future programmes.
  • Contribute ideas for programme content and activities that engage and empower youth.
  • Assist in documenting programme learnings and maintaining project resources for future reference.

Partnerships and Outreach Support

  • Support the team in engaging partners, stakeholders, and collaborators in alignment with the centre's mission.
  • Assist in representing the centre at events or activities, both online and in-person.
  • Help coordinate logistics for collaborative initiatives with external partners.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree programme in any field. Students with an interest in programme coordination, community work, or youth development are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on youth and the community.
  • A good communicator in both English and Chinese, comfortable engaging with diverse groups.
  • Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creative and willing to contribute ideas to programme planning and improvement.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
  • Prior involvement in youth, community, or volunteer work is an advantage but not required.
