Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, engineer, and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments utilizing EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast protocols.
- →Implement and manage VPN and firewall solutions to ensure secure communications across the enterprise.
- →Integrate and maintain VoIP and CENTRIX systems in compliance with mission requirements.
- →Configure and support core network infrastructure components to ensure reliability and redundancy.
- →Conduct network performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting for complex systems.
- →Ensure all configurations meet DISA STIG and DoD cybersecurity compliance standards.
- →Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration baselines.
- →Coordinate with government stakeholders and engineering teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- U.S. Citizenship.
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
- An active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
- An active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions.
- Extensive working knowledge of:
- Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, multicast
- VoIP solutions and cabling services
- VPN and firewall configuration and management
- Network performance monitoring and optimization
- Experience supporting systems engineering in USARPAC and USARC environments.
- Knowledge of JTIC-approved network equipment and solutions.
- Experience in firewall design and implementation.
- Experience in VPN design and implementation.
- Experience working with CENTRIX systems and cross-domain network environments.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
