Accountant
The Accountant provides support to the financial operations across complex construction C.A. Hull projects. The Accountant partners closely with project teams and leadership to monitor job costs, analyze financial performance, and contribute to informed business decisions.

 

The Accountant is responsible for key accounting processes, including financial reporting, and month end close, while ensuring accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and supporting compliance. The Accountant also contributes to process improvements that strengthen the overall accounting function.  


Education, Experience and Qualifications for the Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within construction or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of job cost accounting and percent of completion revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and operations teams

 
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure
The position is full-time with a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience. C.A. Hull offers a discretionary bonus after 1 year of service, 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K with a 5% match and additional opportunities for a profit-sharing contribution, paid time off, ongoing career development and training, and a team-based work environment.
