My client is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our growing Phoenix team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of land development and infrastructure projects while collaborating with a highly experienced group of engineers and designers committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions for our clients and communities.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle and wants to grow their technical expertise while contributing to meaningful projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering plans for land development and infrastructure projects
- Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and roadway designs
- Assist with hydrology and hydraulic calculations
- Support preparation of construction documents and technical reports
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, municipalities, and internal team members
- Participate in permitting and entitlement processes
- Assist with project management tasks including scheduling and coordination
- Review plans and ensure compliance with local codes and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain
- 2–8+ years of civil engineering experience (land development or municipal projects preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
